Yoga, Creativity & the Felt Sense
Somatic wisdom & creative alchemy for mental & physical well-being — with Susanna Edwards & Alison McNaught.
Four 3-hour workshops over four consecutive Mondays · 2–5pm · £550 per person
In our fast-paced, head-driven world, we so often seek answers through thought. But what if the deepest insights and most profound healing lie not in our minds, but within the wisdom of our own bodies?
This is a deep dive into exploring your felt sense and processing through yoga and creativity. Tuning in — floor-based yoga, stretching, stillness, breathwork and meditation. In the flow — journaling prompts, drawing, painting and mark-making. Shifting — from thinking to feeling, observing and creating.
a collaboration
Meet your facilitators
Together, Susanna and Alison guide a series of transformative online workshops where you’ll learn to tap into your inner sanctuary through the powerful combination of somatic practice and creative expression. This unique collaboration brings together broad skill sets across psychology, yoga and creativity for a beautifully holistic experience. Across four weekly workshops you’ll quiet the mental chatter, connect with your body’s innate intelligence, and unlock a pathway to self-discovery, emotional release and profound well-being — exploring how feeling safe in your body allows you to drop inside, to feel held and supported, and to listen more deeply.

Susanna Edwards
Yoga teacher & founder of the School of Creative Wellness; former art & design academic and practitioner.

Alison McNaught
Integrative therapist, drawing on person-centred therapy, CBT, neuroscience and Internal Family Systems.
is this for you?
Who this is for
This workshop is ideal for anyone with a busy life and mind who is seeking a deeper emotional connection, who finds it hard to make time or space to be present with themselves, or who is curious about a more holistic approach to well-being through body awareness and creative expression. You may be a healthcare or wellness practitioner developing new approaches to processing and integration, or an individual wishing to experience deeper body awareness and new methods of self-enquiry. No prior yoga or art experience is necessary — just an open heart and a willingness to explore. Your creative outputs don’t need to look finished, make sense, or be “artistic”; it’s the process of translating the felt sense into words, images and marks that matters.
Although Alison is an integrative therapist, this is not a counselling workshop. We won’t be encouraging thinking or seeking answers — instead we create a safe space to drop into present-moment awareness and the felt sense, to down-regulate the nervous system, and to shift from doing into being, exploring this creatively, without judgement and with self-compassion. Things may surface, but we won’t be deep-diving into problem-solving, and we’ll share signposting if you’d like further support. If you are experiencing severe symptoms of anxiety, grief or depression, we recommend seeking support from your GP and other services (see our Resources page) and joining us another time once you have the support you need.
