The School of Creative Wellness is a heart-centred business for women.
Self-Care for
Women...
Anxiety, stress, worry, insomnia… We all face different challenges in life, whether it be the pressures of work or study, financial or relational challenges, body and hormonal transformations (puberty, pregnancy menopause), or dealing with mental or physical illness, or with loss and grief.
Our quest is to help women reset and manage their lives with self-care, whilst facing transformational challenges in their busy lives. The School of Creative Wellness offers practical support, unique experiences, learning, guidance, tools and signposting to help. We create unique spaces for women of all ages to come together, to move, breathe, learn, laugh, share, create, reinvent, connect to self, to nature and to others.
Women &
Community
Our approach is regenerative and cyclical. In tune with the natural rhythms of nature and the cycles of a woman’s life - from maiden, to mother to wise elder.
We offer these services to multi-generational women facing transformational challenges, stages and cycles in life. Daughters, Sisters, Mothers, Aunts, Grandmothers - all women are welcome.
Transformation
& Joy
We curate transformative wellness retreats and events in Hamphire, teach yoga & breathwork, online & in person. We use creativity as a talisman for wellbeing and use letterpress to create bespoke, handprinted wellness related prints alongside our offerrings
Working collaboratively with experts from the practices of: Yoga & Movement, Breathwork, Psychology, Creative Coaching, Creative Writing, Performance, Art, Design, Meditation, who all champion self-care, creativity and community with an emphasis on a deeper connection to ourselves and others in an ever increasingly disconnected world.

Creativity as Talisman.
After setting up a letterpress studio and returning to her love of this endangered craft, Susanna uses letterpress to create original hand printed items as special gifts, prizes, commissions and offerrings in line with her approach to wellness & joy. In turn these tactile offerings encourage others to find their joy.

Our story
I’m Susanna Edwards, Director, and Founder of the School of Creative Wellness. The School was created at the end of 2022 although its’ foundations were created many years before after experiencing a couple of years of poor mental wellbeing. I was a single parent, I cared for my father throughout a long period of ill-health and at the same time, continued to work long, demanding hours as a full-time university programme leader.
During a period of introspection encouraged both by my cognitive behavioural therapist and my life coach, I realised that I had neglected many of things that had previously brought me great joy and balance. I had totally lost my sense of self.
Creativity &
Wellbeing
I found letterpress whilst studying graphic design at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. I discovered yoga slightly later, in my twenties whilst working in London as a graphic artist and educator in higher education.
I found myself asking, could I, should I, return to these areas of my life that once brought me clarity, balance and joy?
Yoga &
Transformation
I re-trained as a yoga teacher and began the journey of reconnecting with my body, mind, the environment and people around with me.
At the same time, I rekindled my love of printing words, building a small letterpress studio at home. This process of reconnection enabled me to gain strength and clarity inside and out. I started a new stage of my journey, built on empathy, compassion, self-care, creativity and play.
Self-Development
As I showed up in a more joyful way with my family and friends, they would regularly ask what had changed? What was my secret?
Having explained my progress, they would then encourage me to share this journey with other people, who were at a similar crossroads in their life - women looking to bring joy and balance back into their lives.
I realised that I’d met these women time and time again…on dog walks, in coffee shops and at the school gates.
Classes &
Experiences
It seemed like my joy was infectious and I was bringing others with me. With this newly found confidence, I’d love to share my experiences with you through my wellness offerings. Creativity, teaching & learning are in my DNA.
Through combining my past experiences and skills with yoga and breathwork I have created a unique business. Disciplines merge, ways of noticing, seeing and understanding ourselves are explored in a holistic sense, with genuine empathy, care and (com)passion.

Do you want to enable creative wellbeing experiences for all?
Contributions can be made to fund the running of our wellness programmes for those who really need them but can’t afford to access them. We believe that wellbeing should be a basic human right for everyone regardless of social status, race, culture or ethnic background. So, if you can afford to donate to help others, please give a little. We will publish the results of these interventions so you can see how your generosity has helped others..
